The SWASTHYA SAMVEDANA SENA project intends to support front line health workers by giving them a mobile based tool that puts a wealth of vernacular health information in their hands. The interactive health content covers a range of topics – from infant and adolescent health to pre or postnatal health. As the health workers uses the tool in their everyday discussions and meetings with women in their communities, the administration is able to track and monitor their activity, using a web based dashboard, to draw valuable insights from them.
This concept serves a two-way purpose of education of health workers which will, in turn, benefit the rural population and at the same time enable effective back end monitoring by the district to carry out adequate physical interventions on ground-based on insights.
